Judith Brett has been employed as an Infection Control Consultant since 2000 and is currently Senior Infection Control Consultant at the Victorian Statewide Surveillance Coordinating Centre. She has extensive experience in many areas of nursing and has achieved post graduate qualifications in midwifery, neonatal intensive care, infection control and sterilisation, nurse immunisation and business management.
Judith is the immediate past President of the Victorian Infection Control Professionals Association (VICPA) and the Convenor of the Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) Congress 2011.  She has participated in numerous committees related to infection control and prevention and is currently the Victorian representative on the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare’s HAI advisory committee.
