作为“全球感控大使”项目的组成部分,本人应邀将于2009年5月2~5日在美国北卡州的Charlotte,参加由美国CDC和SHEA合作举办的医院感染流行病学培训。

SHEA/CDC Training Course in Healthcare Epidemiology

        Summary        
The SHEA/CDC Course in Healthcare Epidemiology provides training for infectious diseases fellows, healthcare epidemiologists, infection preventionists, quality improvment staff, public health officials, and others interested in training and application of epidemiologic principles.
The course has been in existence for over a decade and consistently receives high ratings from attendees. It emphasizes hands-on exercises, practical materials, and case studies supplemented with lectures and seminars covering fundamental aspects of healthcare epidemiology, including:
•        epidemiology and surveillance
•        epidemic/cluster investigation
•        transmission and control of nosocomial infections
