Blood cultures revisited
INTRODUCTIONBlood culture is a crucial microbiologic investigation for the diagnosis of infectious diseases. It is the gold standard for the
diagnosis of enteric fever, bacteremias (pneumococcal/Hib/staphylococcal), infective endocarditis, nosocomial blood-
stream infections, and some exotic infections such as brucellosis. Apart from diagnosis of the etiologic agent, blood
cultures allow for assessment of antimicrobial sensitivity of the isolate, which is crucial in today’s era of antimicrobial
resistance.

非常好的学习资料,血培养污染是老大难! 血培养的污染,消毒剂的选择,消毒作用时间都是与最终的培养结果息息相关!
值得学习。 我们这血标本总是被污染,下载学习学习。
