Summary
The SHEA/CDC Course in Healthcare Epidemiology provides training for infectious diseases fellows, healthcare epidemiologists, infection preventionists, quality improvment staff, public health officials, and others interested in training and application of epidemiologic principles.
The course has been in existence for over a decade and consistently receives high ratings from attendees. It emphasizes hands-on exercises, practical materials, and case studies supplemented with lectures and seminars covering fundamental aspects of healthcare epidemiology, including:
